“A 74 year old man in California was forced to use a firearm to defend himself and his neighbor over the weekend.
According to the Bakersfield Californian, Ronnie Green heard a woman scream near his home and went to investigate. Green knew that one of his female neighbors had been having trouble with a stalker.
When he arrived he found Greg Miller, who was accused of stalking the neighbor. Green and Miller got into an altercation which resulted in Miller kicking Green in the chest and allegedly pulling a knife on him.
Green, who was armed, managed to draw his firearm and shot the suspect one time in the foot.
Miller fled the scene in a vehicle, but he later crashed the car and was apprehended by law enforcement.
Green suffered minor injuries and the female victim was not injured.”
