Greg and Lisa Gunther, owners of the Gunther Guns gun store in Carlsbad, CA hope to open a world class indoor shooting range and firearm safety training facility in their building at 2717 Loker Avenue West in Carlsbad, the same location where Gunther Guns is currently located.
However liberal/anti gun city officials have been fighting the Gunthers as they seek a permit to build their new shooting range.
Over 250 members of the local shooting community rallied behind them and attended the Planning Commission Hearing held on 2/18/15 to support the Gunther’s right to build a new shooting range, but the vote ended in a tie of 3/3.
The next step is a City Council Hearing.
We are asking all of the shooting community in San Diego County to attend the City Council hearing which has been set for 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at: Carlsbad City Hall 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive Carlsbad, CA 92008. It is ok if you show up late, but please come and let the city officials know that this county supports the Gunther’s right to open a new shooting range!
Let’s not let these liberal/anti gun city officials use their anti gun views to influence business in Carlsbad.
