I just got off the phone with the San Diego County Sheriffs office. Turns out their policy as of now is that they are taking CCW applications first come first served dropped off in person or by mail. However they are not issuing any permits until a final court ruling. I’m guessing that means they will wait to see if one of the 11 9th circuit judges decides to pick it up for a full review by the 11 judge pannel (I believe they have until May 6th to do that), and if that happens we will have to see how that 11 judge panel votes.
